Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) Expert

Role Summary: The CSA Expert will support the design and implementation of sustainable agriculture interventions that increase productivity, resilience, and emissions reduction. The expert will deliver CSA training programs and lead applied research and policy outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop CSA training modules and demonstration plots.
  • Promote agroecological and regenerative practices.
  • Support farmer groups and extension workers.
  • Collaborate on food security and livelihood assessments.
  • Lead capacity-building sessions for agricultural stakeholders.
  • Deliver tailored CSA courses for professionals, farmers, and policymakers.
  • Publish research findings, training manuals, and policy briefs on CSA innovations.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related fields (PhD is advantageous).
  • Minimum 3 years in CSA program design and delivery.
  • Strong experience in farmer training and extension.
