Biography

David has over 17 years of professional experience in climate change mitigation and adaptation, with a strong focus on Payment for Ecosystem Services, REDD+, and sustainable energy initiatives—particularly renewable energy technologies.

David, Senior Consultant at Aidenvironment East Africa. His expertise spans research planning and implementation, project coordination, and evaluation, with practical experience in refugee settlements, forestry governance, environmental justice, agroforestry, Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR), regenerative agriculture, and landscape restoration.

David has conducted extensive fieldwork across Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. He holds an MSc in Forestry and a BA in Environmental Management , both from Makerere University.
